The Vintage Vents & Iron Work Blacksmith, Bill Zarecor, graduated from Martin Westview High School in 1975 in Martin, Tennessee and then attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, with a concentration in Animal Science and Business. He then continued to work with his father managing Tennessee’s largest hog operation, with an annual production of 50,000 hogs.
Over the next 20 years, with his dedication and knowledge, the business grew. Bill has always been interested in building, fabrication, and construction of all kinds and the livestock business allowed him to expand his welding and fabrication knowledge.
In 2004, Bill decided to use his skill and made a career change. He ended his time in the livestock business and began to use his expertise on the design and creation of beautiful iron pieces; thus Vintage Vents & Iron Works was born.
With the assistance of his son, Wyatt Zarecor, and shop foreman Brandon Stout, he is able to create and produce the finest iron railings, iron gates, iron doors, iron fences and iron air vent covers in the South. When not making beautiful iron pieces, Bill enjoys building “hot rods” and working in the garden.
